I visit a few forums daily and see the same thing over and over. There’s nothing wrong with it except it can make a person very unproductive. It’s not just marketing newbies I see doing it it is also experienced marketers. It can also cost you a lot of money.

What is it, it’s jumping from one strategy to another without ever mastering the ones you left behind. You see these massive product launches that sell out in a couple days and they’re being bought by the same people that jumped on and bought the last Big Product launch. I see it all the time when I visit sites I know. One day there’s an add for a product that was the best thing since the Internet and right after some launch there’s a new testimony of how great this new product is.

This makes me wonder, if the last product was as good as the person said it was and did as much for their business as claimed why did they jump on and buy another product in the same category? But, I do know the reason, they didn’t master the first product or in many cases Products(that’s with an S).

Jumping from product to product, business model to business model will be the biggest reason you will not see success. You’ll waste money and more importantly time. I’ve said this many times in forums, pick one business model, one strategy and study it, learn it, perfect it and apply it until it is making you money.
