An Unconventional List Of Small Business Ideas

You are probably well aware of the many small business ideas that flood the internet and are in high demand.  Freelance work, starting your own business, and selling other people’s products are typically a few things that first pop into your head.  Here is an unconventional list of small business ideas you may have never even thought of.

1. EBay
There are people all over profiting from selling their own items or items of others.  You can start by gathering items laying around your house and selling them.  From there, purchase limited edition items or tickets that have sold out and sell them for far more.  Lastly, consider going from house to house asking people if they have items they would like you to sell for them and then you collect a commission.

2. Next on the list of small business ideas you ideally would not think of is selling photos.  There are a number of web sites that purchase stock photos or photographs that you have taken.  This allows you to take your passion of photography and start a career out of it.  You can even develop it into an extended business by creating your own web site and selling photographs to visitors.

3. Virtual assistant
The final unconventional job on the list of small business ideas is to become a virtual assistant.  This consists of you assisting web site and small business owners with various tasks they may need help with.  After all, every entrepreneur knows and understands the endless amount of responsibilities that arise.  There simply is not enough time in the day to complete everything it seems like.

The Two Biggest Reasons Why Most People Will Never Make a Full-Time Income Online…

It all starts when some well-meaning (yet misdirected) person encourages a budding internet entrepreneur to “start in a niche they know alot about”, or base their business around “something they’re passionate about”…

As horrible as it may sound – they’ve unknowingly sent the hopeful entrepreneur down a path of false expectations, poor results and eventually – failure. In fact, the myth of “do what you love and the money will follow” has been responsible for more failure than likely any other influence – perhaps even more so than laziness or a lack of perseverance.

Because the simple truth of the matter is that the only way you’re going to make real money on the net is if your business is based around two crucial things:

1) Large Demand

2) Buyers

In other words – you aren’t going to get rich selling a $15 ebook about growing square watermelons – even though that might be a great passion of yours.

The demand just isn’t there. Maybe there’s a few searches a day on Google for the topic, and perhaps there’s some interest in the online “gardening enthusiast” communities – but you’d be hard-pressed to make even a few hundred dollars a month from ebook sales.

Similarly, you also aren’t going to have a particularly easy time getting rich by building websites about some seemingly “popular” topics like humor, jokes, funny pictures and so on. And while there are a few ways to “monetize” your site (with AdSense, CPA Offers, CPM Banners, etc.), it takes literally millions of website visitors to make even just a few thousand dollars in markets like that.

The demand is huge – but the visitor value is extremely low…

Instead, if you want to make it big online – pulling down an impressive six-figure income – you need to tap into markets with tons of demand, where the majority of the visitors are valuable.

You need to capture tons of traffic that wants to buy something. If you take this approach, you’d practically have to hijack your own order links (or affiliate links) not to make a sizeable income.

In fact – did you know that some affiliates make several thousand dollars daily just by promoting a single product in hot markets? (Just imagine what the merchant is making…)

In some markets there’s actually so much demand that the vendors are quite literally selling over a thousand units – or more – per day. Digital products, with practically zero overhead/delivery cost.

But it all comes back to tapping into valuable demand. In most cases, it takes no extra effort or “skill” to market to a valuable market than it does to struggle along with something you’re passionate about.

These two factors – demand and buying traffic – are what seperate the “wannabe” marketers from the millionaires. Because there’s no real secret – you just need to sell what thousands of people are already buying.

The ball is now officially in your court. Are you tapping into markets with massive, valuable demand?

Or are you struggling to simply make a few dollars occasionally with a business that’s based on your own passionate interests?

Mastering Article Marketing To Build Your Small Business

Step 1

Article Marketing is often claimed to be one of the top methods for building a small business online . In itself that is a true statement but for the majority of online marketers it is far from the truth. Actually nothing works for most new marketers because they do not have a clue how to do it right. You can make any opportunity you start a successful small business idea if done right. Below are the tools I use, how I use them, and how I write articles for both traffic and the search engines.

There are many myths on the internet that make it seem like a huge daunting task trying to make money online. SEO for instance has thousands of how to articles and hundreds of SEO courses that you can purchase. The truth is far easier, SEO has no magic mysteries or long drawn out profiles that have to be accomplished. SEO is simply making your site as relevant as possible to the keywords you want to get listed for. If the content is relevant to your site and small business it will get ranked. The more relevant the higher ranking, it’s just that simple.

Writing a great article, the secret to a great article is easy, make it relevant to what people want to learn and make it friendly to the search engines. In other words, make it valuable to your reader. To find what people want to learn simply do a keyword search using Google’s Keyword Tool. You can quickly tell what people are looking for by the number of monthly searches. You can also see how stiff the competition is. When deciding on keywords for your article use only those that have a monthly search volume between 1000 – 2000 and ones with less competition.

Once you have the keywords you want to use you need to apply them in your article. A great format is to use the exact keyword term in your Title. If your keywords are “successful small business ideas” you would want that term in your title. Then simply break the term down into smaller phrases such as “small business, “successful business, business ideas” etc. and use the shorter terms throughout the article. Use 1 – 3 word phrases every paragraph or as much as every two paragraphs. Then use the exact phrase one last time in your last paragraph.

In writing your article you need to be careful not to look like some spammer who has simply stuffed an article full of keywords. Doing that can get your site punished by Google and other search engines and it will definitely turn people away from your site. Study what you plan to write about, find what people are looking for. Find a need and fill it and you will see the rewards for your efforts. Make your content sound intelligent, like you know what you are talking about. Your keywords should blend perfectly into your content and they should look like they belong there.

Do the above when writing articles and you will see the positive results. If you want to leverage your article writing and take it to the next level these are the two main tools I use because they work, SubmitYourArticle.Com and 1WayLinks.Net.

A System For A Successful Small Business Idea

Hi

Thank you for stopping by.

Today I’m going to look at a system that brings people into your business and helps you manage them.

No matter what business you have if it’s online or a standard brick and mortar business you need to have a constant flow of new customers coming into your business daily. The more new faces the greater your income.

Here is what a customer based system must have.
1. A way to attract new customers.
2. The ability to identify each persons needs.
3. The ability to manage each person.

Marketing is probably the single biggest challenge of any business. It can also be the biggest expense. But it can be simplified and easily cost controlled.

Free marketing sources are very good on the budget and they can be found in a variety of places online but growth will be much slower. There a online places such as traffic exchanges, free solo ads, free banner exchanges that allow you to advertise with no charge. Personally I find traffic exchanges the most beneficial.

This is the one I use most often, trafficswarm.com/go.cgi?723621" target="_blank">Traffic Swarm

Learning how to properly use the free exchanges isn’t too difficult but it does take a little time. I will get into how to correctly use them and some resources at a later date. For my group members I offer several free tools and services to get them started.

Identifying peoples needs must be a priority. Find a persons needs and fill it. You will make a customer every time. Once you find what someone needs and is looking for you can them present them with the answers they want. They will willingly pay to know how to do what they need to do.

Once you have a system in place, one that will help you see what people are searching for, and you have identified their need you then have to be able to manage them. It won’t do you much good to have a lot of potential customers and not be able to organize them. People come to online businesses and online shopping from all stages of life, some retired, young families, single adults, college students and so on. Being able to categorize them is essential.

As I mentioned earlier I drive a truck and my time is limited to a couple hours a night. So a system that accomplishes the above in a timely manner is a must. I need to be able to contact customers, send emails or call them and I need to organize them into different levels of desire. Some want to start a business, some to save money etc.. This needs to be organized clearly and easy to understand so I don’t spin my wheels and waste time I don’t have.

After spending a lot of time and money I now have a resource that works. It’s called PM Marketing, Network Leads (Clink the Link and Check It Out, You Will Be Surprised At All You Get). This is where I get my leads (you) and where I base my daily work. As an added bonus to those who signup at MyWorld Plus I give them a “Lead Management System, An email Autoresponder Email On Steroids, 2500 opt-in email leads and 25 Telephone Verified Leads. Some people say this kind of lead service doesn’t work and all I can say is you are reading this, right.
